Daniel Villarreal proudly serves as the Director of Veterans for the Lipan Apache Tribe, advocating for the interests of his community with honor and dedication.

A multifaceted individual, Daniel's journey encompasses roles as a scholar, artist, dancer, and United States Army Combat Veteran. Enlisting in the U.S. Army's Military Police Corps in 1999, he achieved the rank of Sergeant stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. Serving with distinction in the esteemed 64th Military Police Company, Daniel deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq, fulfilling his commitment to defend his nation before concluding his military service with an honorable discharge.

Following his military career, Daniel pursued his passion for training police working dogs, founding Valley K9 Detection Service. Concurrently, he earned a master’s degree in criminal justice and became a criminal justice instructor at a local college, specializing in law enforcement and Police K9 operations.

Amidst his professional pursuits, Daniel remains deeply connected to his roots in Indian country along the Pow Wow trail. Grateful for the opportunity to serve his tribe, community, and fellow Veterans, Daniel acknowledges the Creator for granting him the privilege to serve others with gratitude and humility.
